Flower Spots

Brighten Your Garden with Flower Spots!

Flower spots are the perfect way to add vibrant blooms to your garden with minimal effort. These established plants come in full bloom, providing 2-3 months of stunning floral displays that can instantly elevate your outdoor space.

Benefits of Flower Spots:

  • Ideal for filling seasonal gaps in your garden while waiting for long-term planting schemes to mature.

  • Perfect for novice gardeners, offering instant and beautiful results.

  • Can be planted en masse to create striking colour displays in blocks or multi-colored patterns.

  • Affordable and available year-round, offering a quick and easy gardening solution.

Planting & Care:

Check plant labels: Ensure the plant's sunlight, shade, and shelter requirements match your garden conditions. Determine if the plant is suitable for garden beds, hanging baskets, or pots.

Prepare the planting area: If planting in the garden we recommend mixing in compost and ican Real Blood & Bone to enrich the soil in a sunny, well-draining spot. If you are planting in a container/pot use a potting mix, and consider placing gravel or stones at the bottom for improved drainage.

Planting process: Dig a hole twice the width and depth of the root ball, place the plant, top it up with soil, lightly press, and water thoroughly. Add mulch to protect new plants from extreme temperatures, prevent weeds, and maintain garden cleanliness.

Maintenance: Regularly remove old blooms (deadhead) to promote new growth, and consider feeding with "Nitrophoska" fertilizer in spring to enhance blooming. Weed around the plants and assess water requirements regularly, especially during the summer months.
